Hello internets, Our names are Mark & Misty and we just bought our second home. It was time for something a little bigger to accommodate our growing family (3 kids so far...). We looked and looked and finally found the perfect house that met all of our goals...
- Close to good schools.
- Larger yard, that would allow for raising chickens or a sheep.
- Fireplace (It has two!)
- More Square feet
- Less than $300,000
- Established neighborhood (we like big trees)
We moved in around 3 months ago and have already started in on some of the many home improvement project that come with owning an older home. Our house was built in the late 80s, and while we love most everything about the layout, there are many aesthetic and functional upgrades we will be making over the foreseeable future.
This blog will be a place to document those projects. Hopefully some of the posts will be helpful to anyone out there tackling home improvement projects as well.
